The market is widely aware that Honeywell disclosed an SEC investigation with the filing of a 10-Q on 19-Oct-2018. Per the company, “On September 13, 2018, following completion of Corporation Finance’s review, the SEC Division of Enforcement advised that it has opened an investigation related to this matter.” Investors think they have all the facts and have adequately discounted the risk.
