World Fuel Services Corp. – INT: Something Curious Between World Fuel Services Corp. and the SEC. On 11-Mar-2019, the SEC previously cited the "law enforcement exemption" of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) as basis to deny our access to the detailed records we sought on this company. As a matter of law, the SEC is acknowledging some sort of investigative activity when they do that. We filed an administrative appeal to challenge the denial. Curiously, and without further explanation, in response to our administrative appeal, dated 10-May-2019, the SEC informed us there were no records responsive to our request.
