Provident Financial Services Inc. (PFS): New document points to a recently-ended but undisclosed investigation. Below we posted an excerpt from a Case Closing Report dated 06-Nov-2014 (see below). No disclosures of SEC investigative activity were found in the past two years of this company’s SEC filings. An earlier response from the SEC dated 05-Feb-2014 pointed to no investigative activity.
