New Data: No SEC Probe for Time Warner Cable - But Time Warner Inc. and Comcast's Still Undisclosed

New data received from the SEC this week affirms there are no signs of SEC investigative activity for Time Warner Cable, Inc. (TWC).  This update is consistent with our research note on Time Warner and Comcast published 18-Jun-2014. At that time we indicated there were no signs of SEC investigations for Time Warner Cable in either of Aug-2012 or Aug-2013. 

In that same note we also alerted to the existence of confirmed, undisclosed SEC investigations for each of Time Warner, Inc. (TWX) and Comcast (CMCSA). 

The new data on Time Warner Cable came in a letter to us dated 22-Jul-2014.  The SEC said it searched its various systems of records but did not locate or identify any information responsive to our FOIA request we made on the company. We filed that request on 08-Jul-2014. 

We have no new information on either of Time Warner Inc. or Comcast.
