BP plc – BP: An undisclosed SEC investigation is again confirmed. The first Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) response indicating SEC investigation was dated 20-Feb-2018. On-going enforcement proceedings confirmed on appeal two times since, most recently on 21-May-2019. For this reason, BP plc remains on our Watch List of companies with confirmed, undisclosed SEC investigations. We also found signs of three SEC investigations since 2011.
